KIND Packaging
The client for this project was KIND (Thins) granola bars. The primary focus of this assignment was to explore packaging and the appropriate layout, size and structure when designing content for packaged items. In addition to that, the goal was to put a new spin on the KIND (Thins) brand in order to represent this particular variety of granola bar, while also still maintaining the existing brand their customer base was familiar with.
I was given some creative flexibility in exploring this brand so I used the original logo and broke it into separate pieces—the three pieces symbolizing the thinner version of the original granola bar. I also chose an image of three (thins) granola bars to coincide with the logo. I made some adjustments for a richer color palette and added a hand-drawn heart element to compliment the brand. To finalize everything I made sure I had accurate information about the product throughout, as well as ensuring the layout and dimensions were correct.
